Singer Chris Brown took to social media site Twitter to express his frustrations with the Grammy Awards and the casting of a new Michael Jackson in a British television comedy. Brown first took aim at the Grammys tweeting “#GRAMMY? This is probably the main reason I love being free to create any kind of music I want. Too many people kiss ass and work  less.” Regarding the casting of English actor Joseph Fiennes for the role of Michael Jackson in a British TV comedy, Brown tweeted “Ya’ll know ya’ll dead wrong to have dude play MJ. If that’s the case let me be Superman. Da fuck they do that at? Is that blackface?, Brown tweeted. “I don’t support that corny ass sh*t”. Brown didn’t receive any nominations for his 2014 album “X”. The pop star is only named in the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration category for the single “Only” featuring Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil Wayne. To say that Andre 3000 is an incredible rapper would be an understatement. In terms of being an all around good person, he excels as well. This past weekend, the Outkast member made a young woman extremely happy, and it all started with a Uber mistake. According to TMZ, Three stacks landed in Los Angeles to head to one of Kanye West’s final recording sessions for his upcoming album “Waves”. He ordered a Uber to take him to his final destination, but instead of ordering a single passenger Uber X, he mistakenly ordered Uber Pool, where one driver picks up multiple passengers. When the car arrived, he noticed a young lady in the car and decided to tag along for the ride anyway. After a brief conversation, Andre and the girl apparently hit if off. The two even learned that they lived in the same place. Andre then asked the young lady to go with him to West’s session, where she also got an opportunity to rub elbows with French Montana, Diddy, Kid Cudi and 2 Chainz. Reportedly, she didn’t stay long, but there’s no doubt the experience was a surreal one. Atlanta singer/rapper Daye Jack debuts the visual for his single “Hands Up” on Billboard magazine’s website on the first day of Black History Month. In the clip which shows a powerful message of solidarity, the rapper, teaming up with Killer Mike, puts on a hoodie while spotlighting protests against police brutality, most notably from the deaths of unarmed Ferguson teen Michael Brown and Florida teen Travyon Martin. Images of historical figures Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X also flash across the screen. Jack will embark on a 30 day Only In Your Dreams Tour along with New Orleans rapper Pell starting today. Rapper Kanye West confirmed via Twitter that his new album “Waves” will hit theaters across the country and will also feature a performance by contemporary Italian artist Vanessa Beecroft. A link where tickets can be purchased was also tweeted along with other details into the simultaneous album debut and New York Fashion Week presentation of his clothing line Yeezy Season 3 at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Feb. 11. Beecroft previously contributed to Yeezy fashion shows and Yeezus tour.
