South Florida songstress Sade  Serena infuses her sound with a mixture of R&B, Reggae and Pop/EDM, and her 2014 EP “Germination” is a true testament to that. The project featured a wide array of sounds and appealed to lovers of many genres of music, including country. Sade stated that she wants to eventually tap into all genres of music, including country. Now, the singer is focusing on one genre, Reggae, as evidenced by her latest project, “Jerk Sauce”. By definition, jerk sauce is a spicy flavorful marinade used to slowly smoke meats and  fruits and vegetables, a style of cooking perfected on the island of Jamaica. Sade’s new music certainly has a certain spice, so it’s only natural. Sade recently performed at an EP release party where she opened her set with a tribute to Prince with “Purple Rain”. She later went on to perform selections from her EP, ending things on a high note. “Jerk Sauce” can be purchased via iTunes. Last month, 49-year-old Janet Jackson announced that she would be putting her “Unbreakable World Tour” on hold to start a family with  husband Wissam Al Mana. Now, sources have confirmed with “Entertainment Tonight” that the singer is indeed pregnant, and only a few days before Mother’s Day!  Jackson will turn 50 on May 16, and this will be the first child for she and her husband. Congratulations to the couple! New York radio station Hot 97’s annual concert “Summer Jam” has just gotten hotter. The station’s Ebro Darden announced via Instagram that rappers Future and Travis Scott have been added to a lineup that also includes G.O.O.D. Music with Pusha T and Big Sean, A$AP Mob’s Rocky and Ferg, DJ Khaled with special guest Young Thug, Kid Ink, Tinashe, and Bryson Tiller. New Jersey’s Met Life Stadium also announced that it will host a Terror Squad reunion, which will reportedly include Fat Joe and Remy Ma delivering their collaboration “All The Way Up”. The duo previously announced that they will release a joint album titled “Platas O Plomo”. Epic Records welcomes it’s new signee French Montana.  The Bronx native joins LA Reid’s roster and plans to release his debut album “Mac And Cheese: The Album” later this year. Montana will also participate in the Bad Boy Reunion shows at the Barclays Center on May 20 and 21.
