Tennis star Serena Williams’ cameo appearance in Beyoncé’s visual “Lemonade” was certainly a surprise; in the video, Williams can be seen her shaking her famous derriere to Beyoncé’s song “Sorry” while Beyoncé post up. During a recent interview, Williams reflected on the experience saying that Beyoncé simply told her to let loose. Williams added that she’s known the director of the video and Beyoncé for some time and that she had a great experience. She also indicated that she’s always loved to dance and that she was honored to be a part of the video. Last week, singer Alicia Keys debuted her new single “In Common”, which she debuted during an appearance on “Saturday Night Live” along with the track “Hallelujah”. Dressed in a jumpsuit, minimal makeup, and a high pineapple hairdo, Keys performed the latin inspired tune along with the never before heard “Hallelujah”, another one of her anthems. Keys captivated the crowd, to say the least. It’s great to see her back on the scene. Rapper Bobby Shmurda will have to spend at least four months in jail. Yesterday, the MC’s trial was pushed back to September. The “Hot Nigga” rapper’s trial on gun and drug charges was slated to begin on Thursday, but according to XXL, the trial date has now been pushed to September 12. This is the fourth postponement for Shmurda’s trial. It was initially scheduled to begin on Feb. 22, then postponed until May 11 and finally pushed to May 12. In December 2014, Shmurda and seven others were arrested following a long-term NYPD investigation. The men arrested were split into two trials. The date change came at the request of Shmurda’s attorney, Alex Spiro, as well as those of the trial’s three other defendants.
