A few months ago, teen R&B duo Chloe & Halle, proteges of Beyoncé, released their debut single “Drop” and also appeared in Beyoncé’s visual album “Lemonade”. Queen Bey discovered the duo via You Tube, and signed them to her label Parkwood Entertainment. Sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey revealed during a recent interview that it was amazing being on the set with beautiful, talented and powerful women and they were as excited as others were with the final product. During a recent tour stop in Antwerp, Belgium, singer Adele dedicated her entire set to the victims of the Orlando shooting in Pulse nightclub, which occurred earlier that morning and left 50 people injured and 53 dead. The singer broke down in tears when acknowledging the victims. Adele told the crowed that the LBGT community is like a soulmate to her and that she was moved by the event. Let’s keep Orlando uplifted in prayer. This week marks “Men Of R&B” week on the “Steve Harvey Show”. The event was kicked off yesterday with an appearance by New Edition. Group members Ricky Bell, Ronnie Devoe, Ralph Tresvant, Michael Bivins and Johnny Gill discussed their upcoming BET biopic, their relationship off stage and their tour with Keith Sweat. The group performed “This One’s For Me And You” along with their classic “If It Isn’t Love”, proving that after 30 years, the group  hasn’t lost a step. Other guest scheduled to appear on the show this week are Keith Sweat (June 14), Bobby Brown (June 15), Montell Jordan (June 16) and Ginuwine (June 17). Missy Elliott will bring the funk to the 2016 VH 1 Hip Hop Honors show. Next month, the Virginia bred rapper/singer/songwriter/producer will be honored at the New York ceremony, slated to include a tribute to an all-female line up of trend setters , game changers and pioneers of hip hop. Since the release of her debut single “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)”, Elliott has earned five Grammy Awards and sold over 30 million records worldwide. Tweet, Ciara and the late Aaliyah are among the artists who have been blessed by Elliott’s unique and innovative sound. Elliott will join Queen Latifah for “VH 1 Hip Hop Honors: All Hail The Queens”, which will air on July 11 at 8 p.m. Rapper Kanye West will be bringing “The Life Of Pablo” near you. West  has announced a 29-city tour to support his February release that will kick off on Aug. 25 in Indianapolis, marking his first North American tour in three years. He’ll bring his latest stage production to arenas across the country, from the Forum in Los Angeles, to Madison Square Garden in New York and the United Center in his hometown of Chicago.
