Evelyn Braxton, matriarch of the Braxton family, visited the Rickey Smiley Morning Show recently with daughters Trina and Towanda Braxton. When asked about the rumors that daughter Toni is dating rapper/music mogul Bryan “Birdman” Williams, Mrs. Braxton replied, “I hope so. He’s a nice man.” When the rumor first began many fans scratched their heads; with his rough  image and her glamorous image, what could the two have in common, other than you know. But, hey, if Mama Braxton approves, then maybe the world should put some respek on his name. A short time later, the conversation switched to whether any of the sisters would appear on “The Real” next season since their sister Tamar was fired. To that Trina responded, “I think the chances are slim and none. When something like that happens to your family it’s very personal. When it comes to business and when it comes to family, family comes first every time.” It’ll also be  interesting to see if the Braxton sisters every record together in the near future. The name of actor Kevin Hart’s new film doesn’t sit will with rap duo Run The Jewels. Hart has a forthcoming film tentively titled  “Run The Jewels”, and yesterday, EI-P, who makes up the duo along with Killer Mike, shared his thoughts on the movie after being asked for a response from a fan. He tweeted, “If you’re going to make a move and you decide to call it “Run The Jewels” why would you not at least call the band?” “Probably lost a number., which is cool. We’ll be calling them.” EI-P followed with another tweet that read, “Excuse me while I go starve myself a savage pack of lawyers for 7 days.” Billboard magazine has compiled a list of what it believes may be the biggest hits of the summer 2016. Among the artists on the list are Drake, Justin Timberlake, Calvin Harris and Rhianna. In addition, the Songs of the Summer chart has returned, ranking the top songs for the entire season based on cumulative performance on the Billboard Hot 100. It looks like Hip Hop/R&B will rule the airwaves this season.
