Lauryn Hill fans will be happy to know that the singer/rapper will be hitting the road beginning today, and she’s bringing some friends with her. Kehlani and Nas will join her on the “MLH Caravan: A Diaspora Calling Tour” this fall. According to Billboard magazine, on select dates in New York, San Francisco and Seattle Kehlani will open for Hill, and Nas will be Hill’s opening act for dates in San Francisco and Seattle. The tour is one fans won’t want to miss. While collaborations are fun, it looks like there’s one in the works that no one may have seen coming. Singer Keyshia Cole is preparing her next project, which she plans to release independently later this year. The songstress recently took to her Instagram account to post a photograph of herself and Frank Ocean, letting fans know that the two have been in the studio together working on something for her album. Earlier this week, it was revealed that Frank Ocean’s latest album, “Blonde”, topped the Billboard 200 chart, selling over 276,000 copies as an Apple Music exclusive. Following her breakout role in Kanye West’s “Fade” video, G.O.O.D. Music artist Teyana Taylor will join two new shows, “The Breaks” and “Hip Hop Squares.” The singer will have a recurring role on “The Breaks”, which will reportedly be a drama series set in 1990’s New York focusing on the Empire State’s impact on the genre during that time. The remainder of the cast will include Mack Wilds, Afton Williamson and Antoine Harris. Taylor, whose acting credits include roles in “Brotherly Love” and “Madea’s Big Happy Family”, will also star in “Hip Hop Squares.” Executive produced by Ice Cube, the show will feature celebrity contestants who will test their pop culture knowledge and is scheduled to premiere this fall. Ashanti has been quite busy, and if all goes as she plans, fans will hear new music from the songstress before the end of the year. However, the singer made it clear during an interview with Billboard that the album won’t be titled “Chapter VI.” She indicated that she has no idea where the idea came from. She went on to add that she’s been working with 15 to 16 recorded songs thus far. She seems pleased with the way things are going at this moment. It looks like Drake finally got the Rhianna kiss he wanted. Fans will recall that Rhianna appeared to turn away as Drake moved in for a lip lock during the 2016 MTV VMAs on Sunday. During a show at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Rhianna joined her rumored boyfriend on stage for a rendition of “Bitch Better Have My Money.” The 6 God moved in for peck and nuzzled into the songstress’s neck as she threw her arms around him with a smile on her face.
