San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s kneeling protest against the national anthem is catching on not only in the NFL, but other arenas as well. Yesterday, singer Chris Brown participated in radio station Power 106’s Celebrity Basketball Game at USC, but didn’t stand for singer Tank’s rendition of the National Anthem. He’s sure to ruffle some feathers now. In addition, Brown got into what TMZ called “a heated, prolonged argument with someone in the stands, intense enough for cops to get involved.” Although it’s unclear what upset the singer, video clearly shows Brown explaining the incident, and a USC officer can be heard saying, “I don’t care who’s here, get it straight.” The third season of NBC’s “The Real” begins today, and singer Monica will be a guest co-host. She will discuss the summer viral sensation #SOGoneChallenge, which saw many people free styling over her 2003 hit “So Gone.” She’ll also discuss her alleged ongoing beef with Brandy, which has permeated her career since their 1998 duet “The Boy Is Mine.” It’s great to see her back on the scene. Singer JoJo is preparing for the release of her forthcoming studio effort, “Mad Love.” The songstress and her record label, Atlantic Records, unveiled the cover art for the upcoming project. It shows JoJo looking over her shoulder over swirls of lush paint colors. JoJo is currently touring with Fifth Harmony on select dates. “Mad Love” will be released on October 14. The release of Usher’s forthcoming project, “Hard To Love” is a week away. The singer has been teasing fans with multiple tracks from the album for the past few weeks, and now he’s released a track list for his highly anticipated eighth studio album. The follow up to 2012’s “Looking 4 Myself” features 15 tracks, two of which include guest appearances “No Limit” features Young Thug and “Rivals” features Future. Actress Priyanka Chopra also makes a guest appearance on “Need You”, a song that’s billed as a conversation between Usher and the “”Quantio” star. Beyond that, Usher holds his own throughout the album, which includes the previously released “Missing You” and “Crash.” Usher received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on September 7. “Hard To Love” will be released on September 16. DJ Mustard has been  a busy man. In addition to announcing his latest project, “Cold Summer”, he also announced  “400 Summers”, a joint project with friend YG will also be released soon. “Cold Summer” is due this month. Meanwhile, no release date has been announced for “400 Summers.” DJ Mustard also revealed during an interview with Billboard that he has also been working with Rhianna, Nicki Minaj, Ty Dolla $ign and others.
