Singer Tamar Braxton hasn’t missed a beat. She’ll be hosting a new talk show soon and more details have been revealed. Braxton and her sisters attended the “New Thinking, New World Saturday” event in Atlanta, during which she announced that her new talk show will be titled “The Tamar Braxton Show” and will air in September 2017. During a trip to Toronto to promote the forthcoming film “Hidden Figures”, which stars Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monae, rapper/producer Pharrell Williams put on a special performance for the local, outdoor crowd at the Toronto Film Festival. To the surprise of many, the hit making producer also debuted some new music for the soundtrack for the film, which includes the single “Running” as well as collaborations with Lalah Hathaway and Kim Burrell, both of whom also surprised the crowd by appearing on stage to perform the song for the first time. “Hidden Figures” will be released in theaters on January 13, 2017. The sequel to the film “Fifty Shade Of Grey” will hit theaters on Valentine’s Day 2017, and the first trailer has been released. Titled “Fifty Shades Darker”, the highly anticipated follow up to the risqué, provocative film is expected to build on the original’s equally provocative soundtrack, which featured The Weeknd and Beyoncé. In fact, a remake of Beyoncé’s “Crazy In Love” has been remixed for the film by singer Miguel. Offering a similarly slowed down, seductive version of the 2015 version, the crooner adds another level of sexy to the track. “Fifty Shades Darker” hits theaters on February 14, 2017. Remy Boys’ Monty returns to the music scene with a collaboration with Fetty Wap titled “Right Back”, which is a smooth track dedicated to his lady and debuts on Billboard today. The rapper told the magazine that the inspiration for the song came from being in a relationship and always on the go. The rapper also revealed that he has special plans for the visual as well. The concept will be classy and different, not your typical music video. He added that he wants something that will stand out. Hip hop veteran Snoop Dogg is preparing his latest project titled “Coolaid.” To promote the album, he spoke with Rolling Stone magazine regarding everything from the album, to his stance on racial and political matters, and of course, herb. He admitted that the inspiration for the album was Beyoncé’s “Lemonade.” He and fellow West Coast rapper The Game recently teamed up to peacefully protest violence by marching up to the LAPD. Snoop even weighed in on the 2016 presidential election by saying that he can’t imagine seeing Donald Trump as president. His herb of choice? Kush.
