Producer The SEVENth has collaborated with singer Melat for a club ready single titled “No Bad News.” From beginning to end, Melat delivers all vocals and lyrics with music provided by SEVENth. Melat stated that the lyrics were inspired by time spent hanging out with friends dancing. She added that everyone’s now busy living life and praised The SEVENth for perfectly capturing those moments with his production. Late last week, it was reported that a Prince tribute concert, which was curated by his family and estate, would take place on October 13 at the Xcel Energy Center and it is sold out. The Star Tribune reported that when tickets went on sale, they sold out in a matter of minutes. Initially, plans for the concert were geared toward U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis, but was changed to the Xcel Energy Center to better handle the cost of quality, sound and production. Rapper Shawty Lo, best known for the 2008 hit “Dey Know”, and as a member of the rap group D4L, who scored a hit in 2005 with the single “Laffy Taffy”, died in a automobile accident in Atlanta last night. The Atlanta GA native, born Carlos Walker, was 40. According to 11 Alive, Fulton County police say that the crash occurred around 2:20 a.m. when a 2016 Audi caught fire at the Cascade Road exit after crashing onto a guard rail and hitting several trees. Two women were reportedly in the car and were sent to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. A Fulton Country representative wasn’t available to confirm the details of the accident at press time. News of Shawty Lo’s death was first reported by radio personality Headkrack, who tweeted that the rapper died in a hit and run, although it’s been reported that it was a single car accident. Shawty Lo’s last release was 2013’s “Bowen Home Carlos.” He leaves behind eleven children.
