Tyrese Darnell Gibson, known professionally as Tyrese, is a singer/songwriter/producer/author/actor from Los Angeles CA. He began his career as a jingle singer for soft drink giant Coca Cola. He later became a fashion model, appearing in ads for Guess and Tommy Hilfiger. His recording career began with his signing to RCA Records. On September 29, 1998, he released his debut album “Tyrese”. The album spawned the singles “Sweet Lady” and “Lately.” He went on to release the albums “2000 Watts”, “I Wanna Go There”, “Alter Ego” and “Open Invitation”. He released “Black Rose” on July 10, 2015. He has since transitioned into acting with roles in such films as “Baby Boy”, the “Fast & Furious” franchise, “Four Brothers”, “Waist Deep”, “The Take” and “Transformers.”
