Without a doubt, singer Solange Knowles has stepped out of big sister Beyoncé’s shadow with the release of her latest studio effort “A Seat At The Table.” The project sets her apart from other artists by carving out a lane for her own sound and aesthetic. The making of the project was a three year process which began in 2013. Solange took a very hands on approach to every aspect of the production, including songwriting through low key jam sessions. The adults are apparently getting along so well now that Keys decided to right a song about it titled “Blended Family (What You Do For Love)” featuring A$AP Rocky. The lighthearted, uptempo track addresses the family dynamic as a fully functioning unit. No more drama here. Keys announced the song via an Instagram post. In addition, Key also announced the release date of her sixth studio effort. The forthcoming project titled “Here”, will be released on Nov. 4 and is currently available for pre-order on iTunes. However, fans shouldn’t worry about when they’ll hear new music from Montana. He says he’s working on a project that’s about 70% completed.
