inSinger Jo Jo has released the visual for the single “FAB”, which features a guest appearance by rapper Remy Ma and is taken from her third studio effort “Mad Love.” An acronym for “fake a** bitches, the song calls out the fake carers, freeloaders, and negative nancies. The clip shows Jo Jo around Remy Ma’s stomping grounds as she performs the song. In addition, she’s preparing a world tour to promote the album “Mad Love.” The trek will begin in Europe in Dublin, Ireland on Jan. 15, and later make stops in Paris, Germany, London and Italy before heading to the U.S. for the second leg, stopping in the west coast, mid west and south before heading to the east coast. This is a tour fans won’t want to miss. Singer/songwriter Sevyn Street has finally announced the release date of her highly anticipated debut album, “Girl Disrupted.” The album is due on Jan. 27, 2017. The songstress confirmed the release date in a series of tweets yesterday. The album will arrive in the mist of the forthcoming “Girl Disrupted Tour”, which is slated to begin on Jan. 12 in St. Louis and end on Feb. 12 in Los Angles. Over the past few months, Streeter has teased fans with the singles “Polly”, featuring Gucci Mane, “My Love For You” and “D4L”, and more music is on the way. The single “Before I Do” will be released on Friday. Singer/songwriter/producer The Dream recently made an appearance on Atlanta radio station V103 for an interview with The Ryan Cameron Morning Show. During the interview, he previewed two singles, one of which featured Usher. While he didn’t reveal when the singles would be released or what project they’d appear on, it now appears that things have changed. Nearly a year after the release of the art film “Genesis”, the hitmaker took to Instagram to announce his forthcoming EP, “Love You To Death”, will be released on Dec. 9. Singer/songwriter Frank Ocean is now ready to add his sound to the festival circuit in 2017. The crooner is slated to appear at the Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama; the Panorama Music Festival in New York; and the Sasquatch Music Festival in Quincy, Washington. In addition, Ocean will head overseas for more shows. Yesterday, he confirmed forthcoming appearances at Denmark’s Northside Fest in June and London’s Lovebox Festival in July. The scheduled festival appearances mark Ocean’s return to the stage after a three year hiatus. He surprised fans with the efforts “Endless” and “Blonde” earlier this year. Both projects have been critically acclaimed and signal a new independent phase in Ocean’s career. Clearly, Ocean is a man who dances to the beat of his own drum, which won’t change anytime soon. It’s been over a week since rapper Kanye West was hospitalized for exhaustion and sleep deprivation. While many celebrities have offered their best wishes to the rapper, Wiz Khalifa recently offered an alternative remedy. During an interview with gossip site TMZ, Khalifa jokingly stated that West needs to smoke some weed. Earlier this year, West and Khalifa had a skirmish over Twitter after West announced that his seventh studio effort would be titled “Waves”, which was later titled “The Life Of Pablo”. Wiz didn’t immediately call out the Chicago native. Instead, he waved a flag for Max B, an incarcerated MC who launched the “wavy” movement. West later went into a lengthy diatribe against Khalifa. The two later had a man to man talk over the phone. With Childish Gambino’s third studio effort scheduled for release on Friday, the rapper offered fans a unique experience. Earlier today, the MC directed followers to his Pharos app where they were treated to footage of his Pharos concert back in September, which took place at the Joshua Tree in California. He also unveiled several options for fans who would like to purchase his latest offering. Fans can purchase the album for $11.99 or a bundle with a limited edition poster, which retails for $14.99. In addition, a “virtual reality” vinyl of the album will be available for $59.99, but won’t be delivered until a yet to be announced date in 2017. Fans certainly have a lot to look forward to.

inIndependent singer/songwriter Travis Malloy has released his debut project, “Love Languages”. The 8 song project, which is opens with the single “Best Friend”, was written and produced by Malloy, with additional lyrics from Rockette and production from Alex Plummer. The project takes listeners on a journey of love lost, gained and cherished. In addition to being a solo artist, Malloy has also worked with industry heavyweights Charlie Wilson, Dorinda Clark Cole, Fred Hammond and others. Malloy is an artist to watch and definitely has a bright future ahead of him. R&B crooner Lloyd has revealed the art and track listing for his forthcoming project “True.” The cover finds the singer/songwriter nude on a large moss-covered rock waterfall. He indicated during an interview that appearing nude on the cover helped him share some of his vulnerabilities. He added that the location of the shot, Atlanta Ga, was also instrumental in the recording process as well. The album is intended to showcase bare naked honesty. Following “Tru”, Lloyd will work on his next project titled “Out My Window”, which will be his first full length project since 2011’s “King Of Hearts.” Singer/songwriter Kehlani has finally revealed the title of her forthcoming debut album. Originally teased as “SSS”, the songstress took to social media site Twitter to disclose the meaning of the acronym. “SWEETSEXYSAVAGE” is the title of the project. “SWEETSEXYSAVAGE” follows her 2015 Grammy nominated mixtape, which has produced the singles “CRZY” and “Distraction.” “SWEETSEXYSAVAGE” will be released in early 2017. Singer Monica, who has been off the radar for some time, and has reportedly parted ways with RCA Records, made an appearance on the OWN series “Where Are They Now.” During the interview, which took place in her Atlanta home, the songstress discussed her early life and career, winning a Grammy with fellow singer Brandy for their duet “The Boy Is Mine”, her relationship with the late Whitney Houston, her marriage to Shannon Brown, putting her children first, her appearance in the film “Almost Christmas” and what she has on the horizon. It’s great to see her back on the scene. Even while touring, rapper A$AP Ferg still manages to squeeze in studio time. The Harlem native has been diligently working on his forthcoming project “Still Striving.” Yesterday, the MC posted an Instagram photograph of him holding a microphone with a caption that read “In the studio and never leaving. #stillstriving on the way!” In April, he released his sophomore album “Always Strive And Prosper”, which featured guest appearances from Big Sean, Rick Ross, Chris Brown and Missy Elliott. He also went into the studio with The Alchemist and Dr. Dre last month. There’s been no comment from the rapper’s representatives. No one can ever accuse rapper Gucci Mane of not staying busy. Yesterday, the Atlanta native surprised fans with a snowy visual for the single “Last Time”, featuring Travis Scott. He teased a possible video during an appearance on Scott’s Beats 1 show.wave. Fortunately, he’s made good on his promise and released the Harmony Korine directed clip. He’s currently promoting his third project this year titled “Return Of East Atlanta Santa”, which follows the 2016 releases “Everybody Looking” and “Woptober.”
