Clifford Joseph Harris Jr. , known professionally as T.I., or Tip, is a rapper/songwriter/actor from Atlanta GA. He began rapping at the age of 8, and attended Douglas High School, but later dropped out. His stage name initially came from his childhood nickhame Tip, after his paternal grandfather. He released his debut album “I’m Serious” via Arista Records in 2001. His sophomore effort, “Trap Muzik”, followed in August 2003. He has since gone on to release the albums “”Urban Legend”, “King”, “T.I. Vs. Tip”, “Paper Trail”, “No Mercy” and “Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head”. He has also worked as an actor, having appeared in such films as “ATL”, “American Gangster” and “Takers.”
