Fans will be happy to know that singer Bruno Mars will be hitting the road to promote his highly anticipated third studio effort, “24 Magic.” The tour, titled “The 24 Magic World Tour”, will begin it’s European leg on March 28, 2017 at Antwerp, Belgium’s Sportpalais and will travel through Europe through June, with shows scheduled in London, Paris, Madrid, Zurich, Copehagen, Berlin and others. The North American leg of the tour will begin on July 15 at the T Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and will make stops in 45 cities across North America and Canada before a four night engagement at The Forum in Los Angeles. In addition to the tour, Mars is also set to make several television appearances, beginning with a show opening performance at the 2016 American Music Awards, which will air live Nov. 20. Next, he’ll perform at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which will air on Dec. 5. A Lansing MI Dollar General cashier, who spends a great deal of time singing on the job, was recently rewarded in a huge way. A customer posted a video of Lucas Holiday performing singer/songwriter Maxwell’s hit “Ascenison” to Facebook. Because of the post, Holiday was invited to appear on ABC’s “Good Morning America” as a special guest (via satellite), and what came after changed his life forever. During the show, Robin Roberts and company surprised the local singer with a personal video message from Maxwell inviting him to join him during his Detroit show. Holiday, who has some serious pipes, plays with the local band Tell Yo Mama. In addition to joining Maxwell on the Detroit stop of his “King and Queen of Hearts Tour”, Holiday and his band are receiving bookings from their new found fame. Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Kay Cola transports viewers through space and time in the visual for her single “Sunset”, taken from her forthcoming EP “Lucy.” In the clip, the singer can be seen singing atop of rocks, while reflecting on the strongest love she’s ever known. The California native is preparing to release her EP “Lucy”, which has been described as a raw and honest journey of a spirit trying to find the purpose of life on earth. Kay Cola’s EP “Lucy” will be released on Friday. Rapper Juicy J will start 2017 by hitting the road. The King of Trill will head out on a 36 city trek called the “Rubba Band: The Business Tour.” Fellow rappers Project Pat and Belly will join him on the nationwide tour. The tour will begin on January 26 at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix AZ and conclude on March 18 in Milwaukee. The tour follows the release of the singles “Ballin”, featuring Kanye West and “No English”, featuring Travis Scott. His forthcoming studio effort “Bubba Band Business: The Album” will be released before the end of the year via Columbia Records/Kemobsabe. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale Friday, Nov. 18 at 10:00 a.m., while Live Nation members will have an opportunity to purchase tickets on Nov. 16.
