musical-notesSinger/songwriter Sevyn Streeter will close 2016 by performing the National Anthem at the Philadelphia 76ers/Los Angeles Lakers game on Dec. 16, while wearing her “We Matter”  jersey. In addition, Streeter also announced the forthcoming “Girl Disrupted Tour” for 2017. The U.S. trek will begin on Jan. 12 in St. Louis MO and end on Feb. 12 at The Roxy in Los Angeles. Streeter made the announcement via her Instagram. The “Girl Disrupted Tour” will support the singer’s forthcoming debut album “Girl Disrupted”, which is proceeded by the singles “My Love For You”, “Prolly”, featuring Gucci Mane and “D4L”, featuring The Dream. Tickets for the “Girl Disrupted Tour” go on sale Nov. 18. On Tuesday, singer/songwriter/ turned “The Voice” coach Alicia Keys took the stage to perform a medley of songs from her latest studio effort “Here”, which hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200 this week. She began with “Blended Family (What You Do For Love)”, pausing in the middle of her performance. With “The Voice” co-host Adam Levine at her side on acoustic guitar, Keys sat at the piano for the remainder of the set, performing “Holy War”, while fans waved their hands from side to side. From there, she blended “Blended Family” with “Holy War’s” finale while fellow “The Voice” coach Miley Cyrus sang along. The performance was a rousing one. Singer Jhene Aiko is maniacal in a teaser for her  latest single. The preview was released via the site jheneismaniacal.com, and features nine videos which were spliced together in one raunchy clip. The clip shows Aiko looking beautifully mysterious in a short bob and daring eye makeup. The teaser comes after boyfriend Big Sean confirmed a second TWENTY88 collaboration between the power couple, in addition to solo projects for both. For the past few years, the country north of the border has produced some of the biggest acts in the music industry. Drake, The Weeknd and Justin Bieber, among them. Enter, Ahamd Balshe, known professionally as rapper Belly. The Canadian  inked a deal with Roc Nation after the release of his mixtape “Up For Days”, which featured guest appearances from Travis Scott, French Montana, and his partner in crime, The Weekend. His song writing ability earned him notoriety, as he landed six writing credits on The Weekend’s smash album “Beauty And The Madness” as well as Beyoncé’s “6 Inch” for her 2016 effort “Lemonade.” He kept the momentum going by shooting  a video for the single “Trap Phone.” He’s a true talent who has a great future ahead of him.
