The future of Fifth Harmony is in limbo following the announcement that member Camila Cambello has left the group. The announcement was confirmed in a message posted on social media and signed by the four remaining members. Fans and the industry have seen situations like this unfold before. The last two popular groups that disbanded initiated in the same circumstances as Fifth Harmony, which was formed during the second season of the American version of “X Factor” in 2012. Both Danity Kane and Mindless Behavior had members exit initially before both groups fell apart or became obsolete. Danity Kane tried to continue after the departure of D. Woods, but more drama ensued, prompting Dawn Richard and Aundrea Fimbres to leave as well. Mindless Behavior, which is trying to carry on with three members, only one original, hit a nose dive in popularity after original frontman Prodigy left. Fifth Harmony’s announcement seems to be the pattern of most groups today, who usually release one or two albums before disbanding. Today, groups of individuals are put together for a major financial goal. Once individual personalities come to the forefront, there’s little that can be done to resolve the differences, especially the creative ones. Time will tell where Fifth Harmony goes from here. I wish them the best. With Christmas just a few days away, here’s the perfect gift for the Rihanna fan in your life. The set will also include the previously vinyl releases “Music Of The Sun” (2005), “A Girl Like Me” (2006), “Good Girl Gone Bad” (2007) and “Anti” (2016) to complete Rihanna’s full album discography. Singer Mariah Carey stopped by Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” on Sunday to chat with host Andy Cohen about her fellow divas and who she actually knows. She also played Plead the Fifth when asked questions about her love life, and even addressed Demi Lovato’s comments about her being nasty to Jennifer Lopez. As for other divas, Carey indicated that Lady Gaga came to one of he shows and the two had a nice conversation in her dressing room. She didn’t seem to have kind things to say about Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus, however. After topping the Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks with the single “Black Beatles”, Rae Sremmurd released the visual for their single “Now That I Know”, which finds the pair diving deep into their relationship woes. Shot in a plush mansion, the two brothers explain to their significant others why moving on may be the best for all parties involved. The video comes after an exciting year for the Tupelo MS natives. Their sophomore effort, “SremmLife 2”, reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and was followed by the Gucci Mane collaboration “Black Beatles”, which became part of the soundtrack for the viral Mannequin Challenge.
