Marsha Ambrosius and Eric Benet will hit the road on the 2017 “M.E. Tour.” The 38-date trek will visit cities across the United States beginning March 30th at Sound Board in Detroit, MI. The tour also includes stops in Atlanta, Houston, New Orleans, Miami, New York, Philadelphia and Chicago. The tour will end on June 8 following a four night residence at Yoshi’s in San Francisco. Ambrosius will be performing music from her Floetry catalog as well as music from her solo albums “Late Nights & Early Mornings” and “Friends & Lovers.” She recently confirmed that her third album is complete. Meanwhile, Benet will be supporting his latest self titled studio effort. The dates also coincide with his latest single “Insane.” Universal Music Group has been chosen by Prince’s estate to handle all of the exclusive rights to the late musician’s catalog. According to Billboard, Universal Music Group inked a multi year deal that gives them control over the licensing of the singer’s music, even unreleased work from the vault; this makes UMG the source and keeper of most of Prince’s music, publishing and merchandise. In 2018, UMG will have access to the U.S. rights of albums released by Prince between 1979 and 1995; including “Purple Rain”, “1999”, “Diamonds And Pearls”, “Sign O The Times”, “Controversy”, “Parade” and “Batman.” Longtime Prince associates Londell McMillian and Charles Koppelman represented the estate during both negotiations. Juicy Couture is making a comeback, and singer Tinashe will be the face of the brand’s relaunching. Urban Outfitters and Juicy Couture have teamed up to launched it’s comeback via a line that features their signature velour tracksuits and cheeky, bejeweled logos. Juicy Couture and Urban Outfitters will launch on February 13 in select Urban Outfitter stores globally as well as urbanoutfitters.com. Following their collaborations “All The Way Up” and “Cooking”, Fat Joe and Remy Ma team up again for the single “Heartbreak.” “Heartbreak” features a hook provided by singer/songwriter/producer The Dream. Fat Joe told Billboard that the song has a beautiful vibe. The single has the potential to do extremely well this spring due to it’s vibrancy. In addition, “Plata O Plamo” is due soon and the dynamic duo shows no signs of slowing down.
