Trey Songz returns with the second single from his “Tremaine The Playboy” series and his forthcoming album “Tremaine.” As he plans to do each week, the crooner has released a visual for the latest release from his dating show. The track, titled “Playboy”, finds the singer questioning his lifestyle and why he hasn’t settled down yet. Songz elaborated during an interview that his new show wasn’t intended to be a dating show, but a way to market his music in a clever manner. “Tremaine” is due out Mar. 24. It’s been four years since rapper Jay Z released the album “Magna Carter Holy Grail”, which was an exclusive Samsung release. The album also went on to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and 13th overall, and spawned the No. 4 Hot 100 hit “Holy Grail”, which featured Justin Timberlake and won the Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration in 2014. Since that time, Hova has been quiet on the music front, with the exception of collaborations with Beyoncé, Jeezy and Rick Ross. The single “Shining”, released earlier this month, found Hova delivering rhymes with confidence. The track entered the Billboard chart at No. 62 and continues to do well. One can only speculate on whether an album is on the way.
