Last month, veteran R&B group Xscape announced their reunion during an interview with Atlanta radio station V103, and now they’re showing they still have amazing vocal ability. It’s been twenty years since the group disbanded and many wondered if they could still harmonize they way they did years ago. Group member Tamika Scott assured that the vocals have gone nowhere. A video has surfaced of members Kandi Burruss, Tamika Scott and La Tocha Scott performing the gospel song “Give Me A Clean Heart” and they sound fabulous.  Member Tameka “Tiny” Cottle  was noticeably absent. No word on why. Trey Songz continues to deliver new music from his forthcoming album “Tremaine” to fans, but this time he gets raunchy with his  latest music video. In the visual, the singer joins some scantily clad women for a card game, and playful bedroom dance sequence. Shortly thereafter, Trey invites more scantily clad models to his private palace as they strip and kiss one another. Songz is preparing for the release of his long awaited seventh studio effort “Tremaine”, which will be released on March 24. The music world is still mourning after it was announced last week that Joni Sledge, founding member of the legendary R&B group Sister Sledge, had died. Sledge, 60, as found unresponsive in her Phoenix AZ home on Friday, March 10, 2017. At the time of Joni’s untimely death, the Sledge family released a statement about their sadness, and now, confirms the cause of death. According to the medical examiner and Joni’s personal physician, she died of natural causes which arose from complications due to a preexisting condition. Formed in 1971 in Philadelphia PA, Sister Sledge consisted of sisters Joni, Debbie, Kathy and Kim Sledge. The group released their breakthrough album “We Are Family” in 1979, which reached number three on the Billboard Top 200 Chart and included the global anthem “We Are Family.” Rapper Lil Uzi Vert may have created the dance challenge of 2017. Titled the #LilVertChallenge, the latest social media phenomenon finds fans doing their best Lil Uzi Vert dance impression to his hit single “XO Tour Llif3.” Known for his funky dance moves, the Philadelphia native showed off his skills at a NYFW event. Fans got wind of the footage and  begun replicating his signature shoulder shimmy in a series of videos. The TM-88 produced track has earned over 6.64 million plays over the last two weeks on Soundcloud, even  topping the streaming platform’s chart this week. So far, Lil Uzi Vert has earned two platinum certifications for his contribution to the Migos’  Hot 100 hit “Bad And Boujee” and his Metro Boomin assisted single “You Was Right.”
