The 69th Annual Parsons School of Design Benefit will honor singer Rihanna along with Eileen Fisher and Neiman Marcus as fashion trend setters. Rihanna has worn several pieces by some of the school’s graduates. Joel Towers, the dean of the school, said in a statement that the school is proud to present Rihanna with the honor, as she has inspired many with her music and distinctive style. He went on to mention the philanthropic programs the songstress has supported. The benefit will take place on May 22 at Pier 60. Congratulations to all the winners. Reportedly, it’s National Piano Day, so the R&B star felt like giving fans an unexpected morning treat with a short set at the train station’s grand piano. Legend performed the hits “Ordinary People”, “All Of Me” and “Surefire” from his latest album “Darkness & Light.” The singer/songwriter was in town to promote the album and its supporting tour, which begins on May 12 in Miami. For the past few weeks, 2 Chainz has been heavily promoting his latest studio effort. He recruited females stars Nicki Minaj, Amber Rose and Erykah Badu to curate their own play lists for “Pretty Girls Like Trap Music” series. He gushed about his collaboration with Nicki Minaj yesterday. The two previously collaborated on the singles “Beez In The Trap” and “I Luv Dem Strippers.” A collaboration with 50 Cent is in the works also. A representative for the rapper couldn’t be reached for comment. Blac Chyna flooded her Snapchat with allegations against the father of her child, Tyga, accusing him of not paying child support. She also alleges that Tyga has been discussing their family, even referencing their four-year-old son King Cairo. Meanwhile, Tyga snapped photos from the studio where he’s working on his forthcoming mixtape “”B*tch I’m The Sh*t-2.” His mentions are flooded with hashtags “#PayJenny” in reference to Chyna’s Snaps.
