Singer/actor Mack Wilds’ stock in the entertainment industry continues to rise. In addition to roles on the VH1 hit “The Breaks” and Fox television’s “Shots Fired”, the newcomer will release a new project on April 7. Titled “After Hours”, the project features the lead single “Explore.” Produced by Blak and written by Cam Wallace, the hard hitting, guitar laden track finds Mack crooning about the end of a relationship. “After Hours” is slated to be released on April 7 and will feature guest appearances by Wale, Tink, and Wallace and features contributions from Key Wane, Deputy, The Mekanics, D’Mile and Kevin Garrett. Mack announced the release date of the project via social media. The revelation was accompanied by a short trailer, possibly linked to a forthcoming television series. Beyoncé’s single “Freedom”, featuring Kendrick Lamar, will take over the musical backdrop in Apple’s new commercial for it’s Apple Watch Series 2. The colorful spot, which features energetic athletes and people from all walks of life, inspires viewers to “Live Bright” via a series of colorful sequences along with Beyoncé’s vocals. The spot opens with a woman in a monochrome office, tapping her Apple watch and standing up to look out the window at what appears to be an emerald green jungle. We’re later transported around the world, to lush green fields and the Northern Lights. Next up, it’s yellow, with a bright yellow waterside and the beach sunset, then various fitness activities infused with a red hue and a low lit blue series involving parachuting and diving. Finally, all the colors come together in an explosion of fireworks. It appears that the clip is worth watching.
