As hard as it may be to believe, it’s been nine years since Beyoncé and Jay Z tied the knot in a private,  intimate ceremony in New York City in 2008. To commemorate that wedding anniversary, the singer’s mother, Tina Lawson, shared a photograph of her daughter’s nuptials with the rap mogul. The black and white image shows Beyoncé throwing up her arms in happiness while Jay Z smiles shortly after the couple said their vows. Beyoncé also shared a touching video on her IG to commemorate her ninth anniversary. Along with a new version of the single “Die With You”, which was debuted in a live video for their anniversary two years ago, the short clip chronicles the couple’s courtship, engagement, wedding, marriage, birth of their first child, daughter Blue Ivy, and current phase as they await the arrival of twins. The clip is truly worth watching. Congratulations to singer KeKe Wyatt are  in order. Wyatt confirmed that she’s expecting her ninth child with husband Michael Ford. The new addition will be her fifth child with Ford; she has three child from a previous marriage and is the stepmother to a child from Ford’s previous relationship, which makes 9 children total. Congratulations to the couple. Fans can catch Wyatt on “Being” on April 8 at 10 p.m. on Centric. Newcomer Khalid is making waves in the industry. The young singer/songwriter brought his “Location” to “The Ellen Show” yesterday for his debut television performance. Laid back and relaxed as they come, the crooner delivered an impassioned performance for the studio audience, all of whom went home with a copy of his debut album “American Teen.” Without question, he has a bright future ahead of him. Rising singer/songwriter Yasmeen shares a residual pain years after a bad breakup on her new single “My Way.” Although the topic is an unpleasant one, the production by Moody and Distant Cousins counters ill feelings with smooth synths and positive feelings regarding the future, as Yasmeen sings about longing to reignite a romance with an ex. Although rapper Kevin Gates remains behind bars, that hasn’t stopped his grind. The MC returns with his first single since October titled “What If.” The contemplative track finds the rapper pondering whether God is a real man. In light of his new record, the rapper’s wife, Dreka Gates, urged fans to be patient on an Instagram post while her husband serves his jail time. Gates was scheduled to be released from prison last month after serving a six month sentence on a battery charge stemming from an incident in 2015. During a concert in Florida, Gates allegedly kicked a female fan in the chest. He was later found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail. After his sentence concluded last month, an outstanding weapons related warrant was reportedly found in his files, forcing him to return to jail. His release date hasn’t been announced.
