musical-notes

Following the release of the single “Get It Baby”, his country tinged offering “On My Way Home”, and “One Way Street”, which is currently No. 1 on Urban AC radio stations, singer/guitarist Tito Jackson’s debut solo album “Tito Time” has finally hit retailers after being available only in Japan previously. The project features guest appearances from Big Daddy Kane, Betty Wright, and his sons, 3T. “Tito Time” can be purchased on iTunes. The return of 90’s R&B group Xscape is larger than many expected; not only will the group release new music and tour, the group’s story will also receive the movie treatment as well. According to Deadline, the multiplatinum group has teamed with “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” creator/executive producer Mona Scott-Young to produce an official, authorized biography of the group, which will feature all four original members under her production company Monami Entertainment. The quartet also plans to film their reunion as a “docu-follow.” Young and Xscape are currently shopping the biopic to networks. Meanwhile, TV One has also announced plans for an Xscape biopic, which the group insists is unauthorized. Seeing the group on the silver screen is certainly something to look forward to. After postponing her tour, giving birth at age 50, and filing for divorce earlier this year, singer Janet Jackson has finally addressed everything the internet has been talking about. Sporting a cap and looking very relaxed, Jackson posted a video message updating fans or her martial and tour status. She announced that she and husband, Wissam Al Man, are separated and currently working out divorce details in court. She also confirmed rumors that she will resume her tour this September. The trek will be titled “The State of the World Tour.” The tour will begin on September 7 and end on December 17. This is great news for fans without question. Before hitting the road with Future on the forthcoming “Nobody’s Safe Tour”, rapper A$AP Ferg has released the visual for his collaboration with Remy Ma “East Coast.” Standing on a circular platform, the rapper delivers hard hitting bars for his hometown. Beaming with New York pride, Remy Ma follows suit with a poignant verse of her own. In addition, Rick Ross, French Montana, A$AP Rocky and Flatbush Zombies all make cameo appearances in the clip. Prior to the release of the video, Ferg spoke highly of the Bronx raptress. He added that his goal was to showcase New York’s high energy level in his new visual. Mission accomplished.
