Last week, it was reported that “X Factor UK” producers were looking to replace judge Nicole Scherzinger, but now it appears that Scherzinger and singer Mariah Carey may grace the judging panel together.  A source close to production told the Sun that once Scherzinger head that other names were being considered, she was eager to get a deal done and now it’s ready to sign. While Carey is still in the running, and considering it’s “X Factor”, it’s best not to rule it out. Either way, Carey appears to be trying to get a spot on the show. Good luck to her. After over two decades in the hip hop game, rapper Snoop Dogg has seen and done it all. He has built his legacy from the ground up, from the front lines of the G funk movement, to his spiritual awakening and rebirth as Snoop Lion. Now, the rap veteran returns with his fifteenth studio effort “Neva Left” via Doggy Style Records. He told Billboard magazine that what he wanted to do with the project is engulf listeners with every phase of Snoop Dogg they’ve heard over the last 25 years. He added that he wanted to release music that represents the generation he comes from and let others know that he’s still here and doing what he does. The production on “Neva Left” was handled by Mike and Keys, BADBUTNOTGOOD, Rick Rock and KAYTRANDA. The album includes special guest appearances from K Camp, KRS One, Too Short, Charlie Wilson, Redman, Method Man and more. Snoop Dogg will also join rock band Linkin Park for their “One More Light Tour” as an opener for some forthcoming October dates.
