Since releasing her critically acclaimed debut album “Ctrl”, singer/songwriter SZA is fast becoming a favorite of listeners. Now, the songstress has collaborated with Maroon 5 on the single “What Lovers Do.” Over a synth lead dance track, Adam Levine and Solana sing some ruminations about love. “What Lovers Do” is the follow up single to Maroon 5’s  “Cold”, featuring rapper Future. There’s no word on a release date for their sixth studio effort as yet. Meanwhile, SZA is currently traveling across the country on her “Ctrl Tour.” She’ll join Bryson Tiller on the European leg of his “Set It Off Tour.” After spending some time enjoying motherhood, singer Melanie Fiona is ready to return to music. The R&B songstress has announced that she’s preparing to release her third studio effort in early 2018. Titled “Next Train”, the album was announced along with her partnership with UAA talent agency. The first single should be released soon as well. In July, Fiona visited the Spotify offices and captioned an Instagram photo with the hashtags #NewMusic #OnTheWay. The two time Grammy winner’s next project will feature her genuine story telling ability that expresses vulnerability and strength. The album was initially titled “Awake”, and she released the singles “Bite The Bullet” and “I Tried.” Fiona’s last album, 2012’s “The MF Life”, featured the singles “Gone And Never Come Back”, “4 Am” and “This Time.” Singer Jhene Aiko is preparing to allow fans to take a journey with her highly anticipated sophomore album. The songstress has revealed some details regarding the project, including the title, Trip 17.” In June, she released the single ‘When We’re Young” along with a 50 First Dates style video. Shortly after, she followed with the Chris Brown collaboration Hello Ego (Don’t Stop).” “Trip 17”, which has been described as a map, marks Aiko’s first album since 2014’s “Souled Out.” The project is still awaiting a release date. In addition to her solo material, Aiko is also preparing a second “Twenty 88” project with rapper Big Sean. Although he released the album “All Amerikkan Bada$S” in April, rapper Joey Bada$$ delivered three singles in July, including “500 Benz.” Yesterday, the MC unveiled the visual for his car happy track. The clip finds Joey posted behind the classic black vehicle, flexing his innate word play ability. From there, he’s shown behind the wheel, where he picks up a lady friend for the ride. Proving to be a modern day Casanova, he pulls out a rose to seal the deal with his date.
