Singer/actor Rotimi has collaborated with Trey Songz and Ty Dolla $ign on his single “Kitchen Table (Remix).” The track finds the crooner seductively making his desires known to his significant other. “Kitchen Table” is taken from Rotimi’s EP “Jeep Music Vol. 1”, which also includes the single “Want More”, featuring Kranium. The song earned over 3 million streams on Spotify. Fans may want to check this one out. Without question, the beast definitely comes out at “Night Time.” In part one of the visual for Trevor Jackson’s single “Night Time”, the singer/songwriter is afraid to reveal his dark side to co-star Diany. The clip begins with the couple taking in the beautiful sunset views by a mountain top before Diany asks why Trevor he always wears sunglasses, before attempting to remove them from his face. Trevor then screams stop, apologies, then relents before driving to his hazy home. Upon their arrival, Trevor gives his lady the grand tour of his domicile, but the tour is cut short after his butler warns him about the time. Trevor then runs to a room, reluctant to leave, Diany follows, and after closing the door, he tells her to trust him and lock the door. We have to wait for part 2 to see what happens later. “Night Time” follows the September 2017 gem “B&W (Benz And My Wallet)”. He’s currently preparing the project “Rough Drafts Pt. 1.” Fans can catch Trevor on the ABC “Blackish” spin off “Grownish”, which includes Yara Shahidi and fellow singer Chloe x Halle and premieres on Jan. 3. Rising singer Tone Stith returns with the single “Hold It Down.” Written and produced by the singer/songwriter, the track features infectious synths and a reverberating bassline. He shares his admiration for a special lady while channeling the late Michael Jackson. He released “My Woman” and “Beat It Down” in November. Since completing a tour to support his debut project “Can We Talk”, the crooner has been in the studio and preparing more music videos, which will be released soon. Singer August Alsina has delivered a treat to fans by way of the remix of the single “Gucci Gang” by rapper Lil Pump. While his album remains in limbo, the singer offers an aggressive, rapid fire version of the catchy number. Changing the mood, the New Orleans native unleashes some boastful lines of his own. Pump’s single continues it’s run on the charts, where it currently sits at No. 4. In the meantime, Alsina continues his efforts to release his album. Following rapper Lil Peep’s untimely death at age 21 last month, his mother promised that wouldn’t end the MC’s career. Now, World Star Hip Hop has made good on her promise with the release of the visual “Save That Shit”, taken from Peep’s debut studio effort “Come Over When You’re Sober Pt. 1.” The clip begins with a dedication from his mother. The visual, directed by Mezzy and Heavy Rayn, features concert footage from Lil Peep’s tour, including candid shots of the rapper posing for photographs with fans and hanging out between shows. Emerging singer/songwriter Jake Spooner has teamed up with rapper Gucci Mane for his latest single “Lost.” The track was produced by CRIS and SmashDavid, who has three Grammy nominations for his work with Big Sean, Khalid and Chris Brown. “Lost” contains an electronic beat build up that leads to Gucci Mane’s verse. Jake Spooner’s debut EP is in the works.
