After announcing the “KOD Tour” in May, rapper J. Cole has added Jaden Smith, Earthgang and his alter ego “Kill Edward” to the bill. The additions will be included with Cole and his opener, Young Thug, beginning Aug. 9 in Miami and throughout the three month run. Singer Maggie Rogers has shared her new single “Give A Little”, taken from her forthcoming debut album. Produced by Grammy winning producer Greg Kurstin and Rogers, the uptempo number imagines a new beginning for a romance that has been run aground by darkness and defensiveness. Maggie even posted a handwritten letter indicating what inspired her to write the song. As it turns out, the inspiration came from National School Walk Out Day, the student protests against gun control. “Give A Little” is the follow up to Maggie’s single “Falling Water.” Rising social media queen turned R&B singer Queen Niaja has released her debut self-titled EP. Released via Capitol Records, the project features the singles “Medicine” and “Karma.” “Medicine” reached No. 40 on the Billboard 100 and “Karma” topped the Emerging Artists Chart. The 5-track EP was inspired by her life, which was documented on You Tube for her subscribers.
