Ronnie James Tucker, known professionally as Ro James, is a German singer/songwriter. James sang throughout his childhood, but never sang in public. He moved to New York where he was influenced by his aunt Rosie Gaines, a singer for Prince.  His love of the album “Purple Rain” landed James in the studio at the age of 19. His work as a songwriter began after he penned the song “Portrait”, which lead to a credit on the single “Use Me” by Miguel after the two bonded on My Space. James performed in and around New York with such artists as Luke James and Wynter Gordon. In 2013, he released his first EP, a three part installment titled “Coke, Jack and Cadillacs.” Each represented important themes in his life; first love, first drink and first car. He  released the album “Eldorado.” on May 27, 2016.
