As an extension of his 2016 EP “TRU”, Atlanta based singer/songwriter Lloyd has just released the full length album of the same name. The album features four tracks from the EP plus seven new songs, including the single “Caramel.” Sevyn Streeter, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and The Spleman Woman’s Choir all make special guest appearances. During an interview with, Lloyd explained that his goal was to create a project similar to soul food. “TRU” is available now. Following the release of her 2016 EP “Jerk Sauce” and her 2017 effort “Come “Through”, singer Sade Serena returns with her brand new single “Swerve”, a duet with reggae singer Elephant Man. The track is perfect for a dancehall party and captures the  heated moment  while slow whining on a dance partner. Midway through, dancehall singer Elephant Man appears, adding his own flow. “Swerve” is worth a listen. Los Angeles based R&B singer/songwriter Kelvin Frazier, Ph.D recently appeared on’s “Voice & Acoustics”, a performance series that showcases the vocal delivery of singers with minimal instrumentation. For his live session, the crooner delivered a heartfelt rendition of his single “Heart’s Desire”, a record that should bring more understanding to relationships. Frazier was accompanied by guitarist Xerigo Ramos and pianist Jarvis Barnes. Fans may need to take a shower after watching Teyana Taylor’s latest dance video. For New York’s forthcoming fashion week, lingerie brand Agent Provocateur has enlisted Teyana to be the brand ambassador for their fall/winter 2018 lingerie line called “The Power of the Provocateur.” Make-up was done by Isamaya Ffrench and styling was done by Ursina Gysi. Teyana plays the character “Petunia Provocateur” for the campaign, which was shot and directed by Charlotte Wales and shows Taylor gyrating in various unmentionables to the Exile hit “I Want To Kiss You All Over.” Taylor had no choreographer. The entire clip was improvised. Not since her appearance in Kanye West’s “Fade” video have fans seen Taylor like this. Singer Bryson Tiller will release his album “Serenity” soon, but in the meantime, he’s delivered three songs to tide fans over until “Serenity” is available. He’s covered SZA’s  “Normal Girl”, then remixed Tory Lanez’s “Leaning”, adding a verse in the beginning. The remix follows their collaboration “Keep In Touch.” Rapper Eminem just released the album “Kamikaze”. This comes as a pleasant surprise to fans, as the Detroit native never officially announced the album or a release date. 6Lack has finally shared the follow up to his 2016 effort “Free 6Lack.” The 26-year-old revealed yesterday that “East Atlanta Love Letter” will be available on September 14. He also unveiled the project’s artwork. Select fans were the first to know, receiving custom postcards from 6Lack directly that featured questions regarding love. Back in June, 6Lack released “Switch”, which found the MC coping with heartbreak. “Switch” was followed by “Nonchalant” earlier this month.  It’s unclear whether the songs will be included on “East Atlanta Love Letter.” Additionally, 6Lack announced his own headlining global tour a few weeks ago. “The East Atlanta With Love Tour” will visit 34 cities and begin on Oct. 5 in South Africa before coming stateside in November.
