Grammy nominated singer Tori Kelly , who is known for her powerful vocals and pop tinged music, is going back to her gospel roots with the new R&B infused album, “Hiding Place.” Produced by gospel artist Kirk Franklin, the project features special guest appearances by Lecrae, Jonathan McReynolds and The Hamiltones. The album’s lead single, “Never Alone”, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Gospel Digital Song Chart. Half of the songs were written by Kirk Franklin, while the remaining tracks came from a collaboration between the two artists. “Hiding Place” follows Kelly’s 2015 debut album “Unbreakable Smile.” Ella Mai dominated the charts with the single “Boo’d Up” this year and followed it up with “Trip.” Now, she returns with the video. The clip finds the British singer/songwriter reflecting on the love she receives from her boo after she messed up. She lights a candle and puts on a record to cozy up next to the fire place before riding shotgun in a Durango and posting up on a basketball court. “Trip” is the lead single from Ella’s debut album, due this fall. Brooklyn based singer/songwriter Nathaniel and Casanova keep the summer vibe going on the new single “Tear It Up”, produced by King James. The song is available via iTunes, Spotify and all digital platforms. Perth, Australia singer/songwriter 28th Star is now sharing his talents with the world via the United States. His latest single, “Down Under”, is a collaboration with songwriters Kevin McCall and LongLiveCzar. The song is available via Spotify. Back in February, rapper 2 Chainz announced his “Rap Or Go To The League” album, which still has no release date. The wait could be coming to an end soon, however, as he’s just unveiled the video for the project’s lead single “Bigger Than You” today. Miniature versions of 2 Chainz, Drake, Quavo and Murda Beatz hilariously comprise an elementary school friend group. The crew is assigned detention in the same room  and wreck havoc on the teacher’s day. The lookalikes eventually escape the teacher’s watch to roam throughout the school for the rest of the day. The clip was directed by Nathan R. Smith. Following the release of his sophomore effort, rapper 6Lack delivers the video for the project’s title track “East Atlanta Love Letter” assisted by fellow Atlanta native Future. The clip finds the two artists returning to their former stomping grounds in tribute to Atlanta’s Zone 6 region. The clip begins with a grim candlelight vigil outside an Atlanta home, setting the somber scene for what’s to come. 6Lack and HNDRXX take turns narrating the volatile experiences of several couples around the city. 6Lack is preparing for his world tour next month, which begins on October 6 in South Africa before it comes to the states in November.
