Atlanta singer Tiffany Evans has remixed another hit, in this case, the Ella Mai hit “Trip.” On the track, the 26-year-old utilizes the piano for most of her remix and switches the lyrics on the verse. Instead of a song of regret, like the original, Tiffany changes the song’s concept to dwell on the avoidance of expressing her emotions. Tiffany is currently working on the follow up to her 2015 release “All Me”, and in June, she released the single “Money Ain’t Everything.” R&B singer/songwriter Gene Nobel has just released the single “Expectations”, taken from his forthcoming album “Elevation”, set for release in 2019. Produced by Paul Tabron Jr., “Elevation” contains sensual, midtempo grooves about being transparent when expressing sexual intentions. “Expectations” will be available on September 28. Anthony David has released a new album, “Hello Like Before: The Songs Of Bill Withers” today. “Hello Like Before: The Songs Of Bill Withers” is David’s tribute to the legendary singer/songwriter, who turned 80. The entire album contains interpretations of Wither’s compositions, both  well known and obscure, and pays homage to Withers’ life, music and artistry. David has unveiled a music video for his cover of “Lovely Day”, one of Withers’ biggest hits. There is a personal connection between the two artists. Though from different eras, both Withers and David are sons of the south, and former military vets who found their voice while in combat, David, in Desert Storm, and Withers in Vietnam. “Hello Like Before: The Songs Of Bill Withers” is worth a listen. Fans last heard from Barachi was in 2017 when he released the visual for the single “Tell Me.” Now, he returns with the new single “Wifey”, a duet with Grammy nominated artist Tory Lanez. Unlike the Next hit of the same name, “Wifey” bypasses  the traditional love song for a R&B/Bass vibe. Produced by Foreign Tek, the chemistry between the two is evident, as they   sing about their  search for their ideal soul mate over an uptempo groove. “Wifey” is the lead single from Barachi’s upcoming self-titled album, due out later this year.
