Jordan Michael Houston, known professionally as Juicy J, is an American rapper/songwriter from Memphis, TN. He began his career as a member of the southern hip hop ensemble Three 6 Mafia. The group went on to release eight albums. On July 2, 2002, Houston released his debut solo album “Chronicles Of The Juice Man” via North North Records. In 2006, Juicy J, along with DJ Paul, Crunchy Black, and Frayser Boy, won an Academy Award for the single “It’s Hard Out Here For A Pimp” at the 78th Annual Academy Awards. On June 16, 2009, Houston released his sophomore effort, “Hustle Til I Die.” From 2009 to 2011, Houston left Three 6 Mafia to focus on his solo career. During this time, he collaborated with several artists, including Wiz Khalifa. He has released the albums “Stay Trippy” (2013) and “Rubba Band Business” (2017).
