London based Future Soul signee Amy Steele has released an acoustic remake of the Cher classic “Believe.” On the  track, the 23-year-old delivers a sultry performance while making the record personal to her sound. Amy recently completed her degree, and now being Dr. Steele, she’s focused on her music career. Over the past year, she’s been working in the studio with Alex Wells, Draper, Babel and others to create records that reflect her artistry and who she is musically. The rising UK singer/songwriter previously released the singles “Long Way Home”, “Graces” and “Saltwater” and she plans to release her forthcoming EP “Memories In Watercolour” in 2019. The project will showcase her sultry and distinctive vocals. In addition to music, Amy recently appeared on the cover of Echoes Magazine, the premiere UK music magazine for black music. Amy discussed her medical degree, her experience in the industry and the pathway for future UK artists. Fans can look forward to hearing more from Amy in the future. Legendary R&B trio After 7, responsible for such hits as “Ready Or Not” and “Can’t Stop”, returns to the spotlight with the holiday single “The Loneliest Christmas.” “The Loneliest Christmas” is a somber ballad that hearkens on the feeling of an empty heart. Written by Daryl Simmons, the song aims to tug at the heartstrings of those missing a loved one during the holiday season. The song’s thought-provoking lyrics, harmony-filled vocals and production make it a wonderful holiday offering. The track also features the high tenor of Kevon Edmonds backed by a blues tinged snare drum, airy strings and lush After 7 harmony. After 7’s last release was the 2016 effort “Timeless.” Veteran R&B singer Kelly Rowland returns to the airwaves with the single “Kelly.” “Kelly” is a self-affirmation, self-worth anthem for those who have been taken advantage of, looked over, or talked about. For Rowland, it appears that she’s been taking notes from friend Beyonce as she delivers fiery vocals about her lavish, happy life. The new single is Rowland’s first in five years, and may set the tone for a new solo album, which Rowland has previously stated will be extremely personal. We’ll have to wait and see what transpires. “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” cast mates Brooke Valentine and Bridget Kelly join forces on the new single “Swear To Gawd.” On the feel good track, both singers deliver emotion filled vocals about how their significant others perform. “Swear To Gawd”  follows the season finale of “Love And Hip Hop: Hollywood.” “Swear To Gawd” is the second single from Brooke’s forthcoming EP. On Wednesday, rapper Meek Mill released the singles “Oodles O’ Noodles Babies” and “Uptown Vibes.” “Uptown Vibes” has a Latin vibe thanks to a hip-swiveling horn line, while “Oodles O’ Noodles Babies”, which Meek performed on “The Tonight Show” on Wednesday, is a throwback number where the rapper looks back on his childhood in Philadelphia. Both tracks are slated to appear on Meek Mill’s first album since his release from prison in April; he released the EP “Legends Of Summer” in July.
