To promote his latest project, multi-platinum Pop/R&B singer Marc E. Bassy has unveiled the music video for his new single, “Treat Me So Bad.” The song appears on his EP “Postmodern Depression.” From a visual perspective, the clip is a black and white piece of cinematic art. Incorporating small bits of color, it gives seduction  and features introspective thought; which compliments the song. “Treat Me So Bad” touches on how inadequate treatment from a partner can make a person stary. In other words, some people enjoy torture or don’t know anything else. “Treat Me So Bad” follows the single “Love Her Too”, a duet with rapper G-Eazy. The two performed the song on The Late Late Show With James Corden. Newcomer Onika has released a remake of the Drake hit “Hate Sleeping Alone.” A Brooklyn native, Onika has release several cover versions of other artists songs. Onika provides a texture that’s missing from R&B. Fans should check out “Hate Sleeping Alone.” Emerging R&B star DaniLeigh has released the visual for her single “The Plan.” “The Plan” is taken from her debut album. In the clip, the Dominican-American, South Florida native performs the vocals in a music studio while using visual effects to heighten her presence. “The Plan”, which also features the single “Lil Bebe”, includes special guest appearances from YBN Nahmir, YG, Lil Yachty and Bill$. She will begin her “Be Yourself Tour” on January 31 in San Francisco and wrap things up on February 26 in Denver.  Rapper Yo Gotti recently teased the track list for his forthcoming album, “Trapped.” While he didn’t confirm any song titles, he did premiere a playlist of 20 tracks that could appear on his album during a recently visit to Art Basel. The album will be released in 2019.
