Robert Rihmeek Williams, known professionally as Meek Mill, is an American rapper and activist from Philadelphia, PA. Williams began his career by participating in rap battles under the pseudonym Meek Millz. He and three friends went on to form the rap group The Boodhoundz. They purchased blank CDs and jewel cases at Kinkos, encouraging friends to burn them with the groups songs and distribute them. The Boodhoundz stayed together long enough to release four mixtapes. In February 2011, Williams was signed to Maybach Music by rapper Rick Ross as a solo artist.  In March 2011, Williams was included in rap magazine XXL’s “Freshmen Class Of 2011.” That same year, he released his debut single “Tupac Back”, a duet with Rick Ross. That same year, Williams released “Ima Boss’, another duet with Rick Ross. On October 12, 2012, Williams released his debut album “Dreams And Nightmares.” Willliams has released several mixtapes in addition to the albums “Dreams Worth More Than Money” (2015), “Wins & Losses” (2017) and “Championships” (2018).
