Before 2018 came to a close, singer Robin Thicke made his first public appearance since announcing his engagement to April Love Geary. The talented singer/songwriter appeared at APEX Social Club at the PALMS Casino Resort in Las Vegas where he performed his new single “Testify” along with “Lost Without You”, Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together”, Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You” and his signature hit “Blurred Lines.” At the Vegas 55th floor overlook, fans danced and sang along as Thicke made his way around the space, making for an unforgettable evening. Robin and April, who are expecting their second child this year, were celebrated with a customer engagement photo cake, which was presented to Robin Thicke by APEX nightlife partners Ryan Labbe and Jason Craig. Congratulations to the happy couple. Singer Arie rose to prominence after collaborating with rapper Trina on her single “I Just Wanna.” Now, she returns with the single “I Want Your Friend.” On the track, Arie turns the tables on men, asking for what she wants, even if it means taking their friend. Arie is poised to become one of the hottest artists in the industry. She’s currently signed to Mastermind Music Group aka 3MG. Arie is working on her solo project, which will be released this year. Her debut single has become a hit and is rising on Miami charts. Emerging Atlanta rapper Omeretta The Great managed to release the singles “Love Me” and “Road Rage” just days after Christmas. On the track “Love Me”, the rapper describes a scenario where she commits to the wrong Prince Charming. Omeretta vows to commit to someone who genuinely loves and cares for her. The song is relatable to ladies who have suffered heartbreak and struggled to put the pieces back together on their own. On the other hand, “Road Rage” is a street anthem that lets naysayers know what the consequences will be for messing with this bombshell. After promising new music in 2019, Chris Brown has released the single “Undecided.” Produced by Scott Storch, the track samples Shanice Wilson’s 1991 hit,  “I Love Your Smile”, as Brown croons about an emotional love affair. “Undecided” is the first singe from Brown’s forthcoming album, “Indigo”, which will be the follow up to his 2017 45-track effort “Heartbreak On A Full Moon.” From Demarus Jaccquez’ latest studio effort, “Transition #3091”, comes the new single “Who You Are.” On the track, the singer/songwriter delivers a special and emotional ode to women, making it clear that he admires their being. “Who You Are” is worth a listen. On New Year’s Eve, rapper Future shared the track “NASA”, featuring French Montana and production from DJ Esco. He then released another track titled “Crushed Up.” “Crushed Up” marks Future’s first release since “WRLD On Drugs”, his collaborative project with Juice WRLD, which topped the R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart in November.
