Singer/songwriter Brie has taken the phrase “New Year, New Me” and turned it into a new single to ring in 2019. “New Year New Me” is leading the charge to give everyone positive vibes as they begin another 12 month cycle. Wrapped in lush melodies, the song discusses Brie’s past and how she’s decided to put her best foot forward and forge ahead. Brie’s made it clear that she’s going to live every day doing what she loves. She has officially proclaimed 2019 the year of Brie. Emerging New York rapper Leighn Paris has released the single “Wood Grain.” The track is the first single from his forthcoming EP. Sampling Belizean rapper Shyne’s single “Bad Boyz” by way of singer Grace Jones’ “Nightclubbing”, Leighn Paris blends his Belizean roots with a melodic lyricism and rap flow on the track. In the song, he raps about his lavish lifestyle over an early 2000s beat accompanied by extra 808 and snare. “Wood Grain” is a classic in the making. With verses gliding across the track, it’s a sure fire single. UK singer/songwriter Danielle Bellas recently released the inspirational music video for her single, “I Got This.” Released after Mental Health Month, the clip features subjects opening up about their own negative thoughts and fears, showing that no one is alone in their pain. Produced by the production duo Jud Mahoney and Natalie DeLucia, “I Got This” is Danielle’s third single. The song remains true to her take on 90s R&B. Singer Ann Marie will release her forthcoming album “Tripolar 2” on January 9.  The project will feature a collection of relatable and emotional jams. The followup to 2018’s “Tripolar”, which featured the single “Handle It”, “Tripolar 2” contains nine well crafted songs, including “Bag”, “Have You”, “Pull Up” and “Ride Me.” “Tripolar 2” features special guest appearances by Yung Bleu and Calboy. Rapper J Cole is reuniting the heroes from the Dreamville. Over the next ten days, Cole will  prepare “The Revenge Of The Dreamers 3″compilation album in Atlanta with collaborators. The North Carolina native posted the golden invite as other members of Dreamville followed suit. “Revenge Of The Dreamers 2”  was released in 2015; the third installment has no confirmed release date.
