Veteran R&B group Jagged Edge returns to the spotlight with their new single “Closet Thing To Perfect.” Penned by twins Brian and Brandon Casey, the song echoes classic Jagged Edge with an infusion of hip hop sounds. It’s clear from the song’s title that the group is raising women high and showering them with all the attention they deserve. This one is worth checking out. R&B veteran Brian McKnight recently released the single “When I’m Gone”, and now he’s back with the supporting music video. On the emotional Tim Kelly produced ballad, the singer/songwriter paints a vivid picture of longing for a loved one when you’re away from them. The video provides support for McKnight’s lyrics as he’s shown pondering around thinking about his lover while away working. “When I’m Gone” is the first single from McKnight’s forthcoming fourteenth studio effort, “Bedtime Story”, the followup to 2017’s “Genesis.” McKnight has indicated that the album will be 60 minutes of lovemaking. After topping the charts with the single “Smile” in 2018, rapper Lil Duval returned in January with the Ty Dolla $ign assisted single “Pull Up.” Now, he’s tapped singer/dancer Teyana Taylor to direct the music video for the single “Pull Up.” Duval lives his best life as he hosts a house party in the star studded clip. The 41-year-old takes the stage with Ty Dolla $ign to bring the duo’s infectious positive energy to the raucous gathering. The party then continues by the pool. Justin Combs and Sevyn Streeter make cameo appearances in the clip. Fans should check this one out.
