R&B singer Mario unveils a touching and heartfelt music video for his new single “I Care For You”, taken from his latest studio effort, “Dancing Shadows.” In the clip, Mario, while watching over young men, shows the bond between them and their mothers. One can only imagine how difficult it was for Mario to shoot this video, considering the trials and tribulations he’s faced with his own mother. The Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum singer released his fifth studio album, “Dancing Shadows”, via his own label New Citizen and Empire in October. The project features the singles “Drowning”  and  the title track “Dancing Shadows.” The album finds Mario pushing his vocal boundaries while experimenting with expansive electronic landscapes, trap energy, and pop sheen. “Dancing Shadows” is the follow up to 2009’s “D.N.A.” Mario is currently on the Millennium Tour with B2K, Bobby V, Pretty Ricky and more. Rapper Soulja Boy is celebrating his release from jail with new music. Yesterday, the 28-year-old rapper released the track “Tha Block Is Hot”, on which he reminds listeners that  he’s the hottest rapper in the game over plopping piano keys and rolling drums. The new track, which will likely appear on his forthcoming album, due out this summer, arrives after Soulja Boy’s release from jail on Friday after being apprehended by police upon his arrival for a meeting with his probation officer in Los Angeles. Soulja Boy, birth name DeAndre Way, has been on probation since being convicted in 2014 on charges of carrying a loaded firearm in public. The rapper was released in time for a scheduled performance at an L.A Clippers game, where he performed “Crank That.” Rapper Kid Ink ended 2018 with the release of his EP “Missed Calls” in December. Listeners were drawn to the track “YUSO”, a collaboration with rap veteran Lil Wayne and rising Bay Area rapper Saweetie. A few months later, the trio returns with the  twerk-filled music video. The rapper enters the neon-lit room to get things started, where he’s surrounded by a few exotic dancers shaking their rear ends into the camera. The dancers are later seen sensually licking an ice cream cone and eating a banana. Clearly enjoying what’s going on, Lil Wayne then appears with a smile and his signature styrofoam cup. Saweetie steals the show with her cameo. The rapper has to cool herself off with a fan, with the steamy scene beginning to heat up behind her x-rated verse. Fans should check this one out.
