British R&B singer Liam Bailey steps into the spotlight with the EP “Brand New.” The 6-song project features the single “Hold Tight.” With “Brand New” being his fourth EP, Bailey offers an array of emotions, beginning with the title track, and closing with “Come Clean.” In-between, the EP consists of the lead single “Brother, Why You Gotta Love Her”, featuring Maverick Sabre and the ballad “You Saw The Devil In Me.” The entire project features guitar arrangements and Bailey’s soulful voice. Written solely by Bailey, the EP features the production work of Rich Cooper and Fred Cox. Bailey is regarded as one of the best R&B vocalists in the UK, a claim backed by Billboard, BBC Radio 1 and Complex. He’s collaborated with Gorillaz, Shy FX, Salaam Remi and  toured with Paloma Faith, Ellie Goulding and Plan B. He’s been compared to Otis Redding, Sam Cooke and Bob Marley for his soul, reggae and blues pedigree and his honest, relatable songwriting. Following its debut in the Top 20 of the UK iTunes R&B/Soul Album Chart, “Brand New” is now available on all streaming platforms. Singer/songwriter Shae Jacobs has just released his debut EP, “What’s Hard To Say.” A six track project, Jacobs’ debut EP is said to be a musical version of a comprehensive personal diary, with stories of love and loss from the male perspective. This project is an introspective look at male emotions using R&B vocals as the medium to relay the message. Each song offers a different perspective, providing another message. It’s an example of how Jacobs can convey such emotion beyond his years. Jacobs established himself with songs exploring relationships, heartbreak and healing. He’s collaborated with Cheat Codes, Sigrid, The Chainsmokers, Ty$, Plan B, Shift K3Y, Snoop Doog, Jason Derulo, Sean Paul and Charlotte Lawrence. Last year, he unveiled “Fxck Me Up”, “Space” and Jealous”, all of which appear on “What’s Hard To Say.” The EP is now available on all streaming platforms.  Emotional Oranges is just as mysterious as their name. While not much is known about the collective, reportedly the band came to be after Adele’s vocal coach and Drake’s engineer met at a bat mitzvah in 2017. However, since their formation, the band has become known for their use of funky beats, beak-beat drums and jazzy guitars, creating a refreshing, retro sound with futuristic overtones. The singles “Motion” and “Personal” immediately created a buzz, generating over 12 million streams globally. “Motion” was the official theme song for RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2018. Next month, Emotional Oranges will launch their “Chill, Baby, Chill Tour” in Toronto on May 20. Tour dates in New York City and Los Angeles are currently sold out, and the band will also visit Paris, Amsterdam and London. Rapper 21 Savage has unveiled the music video for his new single “Ball W/O You.” In the clip, a heartbroken Savage is found gazing at the skies from his swanky loft. While he ruminates about his past relationship, his former lover is taking the breakup differently; she hits the club and takes selfies with her friends while relishing her new-found freedom. Although 21 encounters another woman later in the video, his  heart remains fragile, considering his past relationships have left him disheartened. Fans will enjoy this one.
