Inglewood, CA based rising R&B band James Davis just released their new single, “Something To Talk About”, via Hardcover/Motown. On the sultry, soulful offering, the siblings offer an objective view of a relationship on the rocks, and what it will take to save it. “Something To Talk About” encourages listeners to put away their mobile device, clear their schedules,  and have a heart to heart conversation with that special someone. The eargasmic song provides the missing ingredients in today’s relationships. “Something To Talk About” will appear on the group’s forthcoming album, “Masterpiece”, the follow-up to 2018’s “Lamplighter Vol. 1.”  Beginning April 14, James Davis will support Leikeli47 on the Acrylic Tour, with the first show taking place in Santa Cruz, CA. Additional dates are scheduled for North America and Europe. Grammy-Award winning singer Elle Varner returns with her new single “Kinda Love.” On the sensual number, backed with island infused production, the singer/songwriter delivers sultry vocals about her stance on love. Co-written by Grammy-nominated songwriter Stacy Barthe, “Kinda Love” is poised to make noise on the charts and airwaves this summer. The song is the second single from Varner’s highly anticipated fourth album. The first single, “Pour Me”, featuring Wale, was released last month. Following the release of the singles “King James” and “Make It Better”, R&B/Soul crooner Anderson .Paak returns with his latest studio album, “Ventura, Ventura.” Ventura, Ventura” contains 11 songs and features special guest appearances from Brandy, Jazmine Sullivan, Lalah Hathaway, Sonyae Elise, Andre 3000 and the late Nate Dogg. The project, which arrives six months after his last album, serves as the fourth and final chapter of his beach-themed series. In support of the album, .Paak will launch his 21-date “Best Teef In The Game Tour” on May 17 in Nashville, TN. Thundercat, Earl Sweatshirt, Noname, Mac DeMarco and Jessie Reyez will join him on select dates. He’s also scheduled to perform at Coachella on Friday.  Producer Kaytranada enlists the services of R&B duo Vanjess for his new single “Dysfunctional.” On the uptempo number, the Nigerian-American sisters deliver smooth vocals over Kaytranada’s funky, intoxicating production. “Dysfunctional” will appear on Kaytranada’s forthcoming album, to be released via RCA Records. The project will be the follow-up to his EP “Nothing Like You/Chances.” Singer Chris Brown channels his inner Michael Jackson in the music video for his new single “Back To Love.” Shot in Paris in January, the clip begins with the Grammy winner dodging the paparazzi and hopping into a BMW. He asks the driver, in French, to take him to the river. Once he arrives at his final destination, Brown unleashes several high-energy dance moves as he makes his way around the area. His backdrop is glimmered with the Eiffel Tower, a full moon, bucket drummers, and kids dancing. “Back To Love” is taken from Brown’s forthcoming album “Indigo”, which also includes the single “Undecided.” Earlier this year, Brown signed a deal with RCA Records and will retain ownership of his master recordings.
