musical-notes

Legendary R&B group Switch topped the charts during the 1970s with such hits as “There’ll Never Be”, “I Wanna Be Closer”, “I Call Your Name” and “Love Over And Over Again.” The group was musically dormant for a few years during the 1980s, and lead singer Bobby DeBarge past away prematurely in 1995. Since that time, the group has been in the studio and just released the single “I Love You More.” It’s a gorgeous love song about spending the rest of your life with the right one. The lyrics and vocals go straight to the heart, and are reminiscent of what fans have come to expect from Switch. Today, the lineup of Switch consists of Gregory Williams, Eddie Fluellen, Philip Ingram, Michael McGloiry and Akili Nickson. Since the release of “I Love You More”, Switch has been getting rave reviews.  Old fans will love certainly love “I Love You More.” Singer Ari Lennox just released her highly anticipated debut album “Shea Butter Baby.” Clocking in at 44 minutes, the project features special guest appearances from J. Cole and J.I.D. The 28-year-old Dreamville signee has been holding on to these records for quite a while and can  breath a sigh of relief now that “Shea Butter Baby” is available for consumption. Lennox is definitely one to watch.
