Sir Robert Bryson Hall, known professionally as Logic, is an American rapper/singer/songwriter/producer/author from Gaithersburg, MD. At age 13, Hall met Solomon Taylor, who would become his mentor. Hall became interested in hip hop after watching the film “Kill Bill Vol”, whose soundtrack was produced by Wu Tang Clan member RZA. Shortly after that, Hall began listening to the group and purchased The Roots album “Do You Want More?”, which prompted Taylor to buy CDs with instrumental beats for Hall to write lyrics over. In 2009, Hall performed under the moniker Psychological. He released an unofficial mixtape “Psychological-Logic: The Mixtape” under his original stage name. The tape allowed him to open for Pitbull, EPMD, Method Man, Redman and Ludacris at shows all over Maryland. Shortly thereafter, he shortened the Psychological moniker to Logic. Hall has released the albums “Under Pressure” (2014), “The Incredible True Story” (2015), “Everybody” (2017), “YSIV” (2018) and “Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind” (2019).
