Rapper Lil Nas X’s latest single “Old Town Road”, featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, sits at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for a ninth week, the chart’s longest reign this year. It passes Ariana Grande’s “7 Rings”, which topped the chart for eight weeks beginning with it’s debut at No. 1 on the list on Feb. 2. “Old Town Road” also remains No. 1 on the Streaming Songs chart for a ninth week, earning 115.3 million U.S. streams, down 12% the week ending May 30, according to Nielsen Music; a week earlier, it drew 130.7 million streams during the tracking week encompassing the first seven days of the availability of its music video, which was released on May 17. “Road” set the record for the top streaming week ever following the release of the remix featuring Cyrus and now claims eight of the 10 biggest frames to date, including the top three. “Road” tops the Digital Songs Sales chart with 81,000 downloads, up 8% during the week ending May 30, earning the Hot 100’s top Sales Gainer award. “Road” sits at No. 3 on the Radio Songs chart, with 95.3 million streams, up 8% during the week ending June 2. “Road” currently sits at the top of both the Top R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart and Hot Rap Songs chart for a ninth week.
