Rising R&B singer Miesa steps into the spotlight with her new single, “Unsaid”, the first offering from her forthcoming EP. Produced by Manzur Zafr, and written by Jackson and Tiffany Fred, the soulful track features heartfelt lyrics as Miesa laments on a tough heartbreak. “Unsaid” gives listeners a taste of what they can expect from Miesa’s EP, as she will explore the ups and downs of relationships. Miesa has been making a name for herself for the past few years. Her debut EP, “When Love”, debuted in the Top Ten on iTunes and her single “Overdrive” reached the Top 20 at Urban Radio. Fans will most certainly hear more from Miesa as she prepares her upcoming EP and debut album featuring the production of The Rascals, Happy Prez and KNT. London singer/songwriter Ajia continues her momentum with her new single “Brown Skin Sugar.” On the track, the songstress exudes confidence as she playfully confirms her beauty through smooth vocals and catchy melodies. It’s a song about being comfortable and positive. New York based singer/songwriter Amber Mark recently released the single “What If” via PMR/Interscope Records. Produced by Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman, Mark brings the track to life with blissful vocals. The Renee Rodenkirchen directed clip brings the essence of the song to life as Amber wheels viewers into her sexy aura. Having spent the winter writing and recording in her home studio in NYC, Amber released the uptempo number “Mixer” last month, with more music to come. Amber is slated to perform at the Pitchfork Festival in Chicago before she heads to Philadelphia for the Made In America Festival. After a visit to London in November 2018 to play the O2 Academy Brixton in support of Leon Bridges and a sold out headlining show at Oslo Hackney, she’ll return to Europe for a string of headline dates and festivals in July, including a London show at Scala on July 9. After hitting the Billboard charts with the single “Wrong”, rapper Luh Kel continues the momentum with “BRB.” The song is about how he bounces back after the end of a relationship. The St. Louis native premiered the lyric video today. It makes use of graphics from iMessage and other iPhone features to get the point across, which is how most youth communicate. “Wrong” reached No. 37 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart in May. The record received a boost from the #WrongChallenge taking off on the TikTok app. We’ll have to wait and see what happens with “BRB” as Kel prepares a new EP.
