Migos is an American hip hop group from Lawrenceville, GA. Formed in 2008, the trio consists of Quavo (Quavious Keyate Marshall), Takeoff (Kirshnik Khari Ball) and Offset (Kiari Kendrell Cephus). They originally called themselves the Polo Club. The three members of the group are related and were raised together. Quavo is Takeoff’s uncle, and Offset is Quavo’s cousin. In 2013, the trio released their breakout single “Versace.” The single peaked at No. 99 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. Later that year, rapper Drake brought the track more recognition when he remixed it and added a verse, which he performed at the 2013 iHeartRadio Music Festival. On June 13, Migos released their debut mixtape “Y.R.N. (Young Rich Niggas)”, which included “Versace” to critical acclaim. The group released two other mixtapes; “No Label 2” and “Y. R.N. 2.” On July 31, 2015, they released their full length debut album “Young Rich Nation.” They have also released the albums “Culture” (2017), “Culture 2” (2018) and “Culture 3” (2020).
