Singer/songwriter Josh Waters recently released his new single, “Get Away.” Upon first listen, the song brings up emotions that will make you think of prior relationships. By the time the song gets to the hook and chorus, it springs a melodic, uplifting flow to your ears that brings a sense of harmony and satisfaction. The song makes you groove and sing along, after a breakup, with a group of your friends, and leaves you feeling better afterwards. Following the release of his sophomore effort “Honey”, Waters signed with BNDWTH. He and producer WLPWR have created a love song and cinematic clip that gives a theatrical take on how bad a relationship can get. The video tells the story of Waters’ significant other discovering his infidelities and plotting with the other woman to get revenge. After they set him up, they kidnap him, take him to an abandoned field, ignite a a fire, dig a hole, and throw him in. Although the video illustrates the anger and pain of Waters’ lover, the lyrics of the song manifest the feelings of heartbreak from leaving someone you care about and the frustration of constantly repeating the same mistakes in relationships. Although it isn’t shown in the video, “Get Away” is about healing. Listeners can relate to the message of the song by finding strength in letting go and moving on. Waters uses his personal experience with relationships and hopes his music inspires others to break free from bad relationships. With the release of “Indigo” just three days away, Chris Brown unveils yet another single and  collaboration with Justin Bieber. Titled “Don’t Check On Me”, Brown revels in heartbreak throughout the tune’s chorus. Bieber then peels back the layers of escaping a toxic relationship. Fans will enjoy this one. Rapper G-Eazy released a three track EP titled “B Sides” to little fanfare yesterday. The project gives fans an idea of the creative space G-Eazy is in currently. “B Sides” contains three solo tracks and a collaboration with rapper Tyga titled “Bang.” The 30-year-old was recently announced as a headliner at the 2019 Rolling Out Bay Area slated to take place on Sept. 28 at the Oakland Coliseum Grounds in Oakland, CA.

Rolling Loud will return to the Bay Area for a third year this fall when the festival invades the Oakland Coliseum Grounds on Sept. 28-29. Rolling Loud revealed the festival lineup yesterday, which will be headlined by Future, G-Eazy, Migos and Lil Uzi Vert. The rest of the bill will include 21 Savage, Juice WRLD, Playboi Carti, Young Thug, Kodak Black, Gunna, Nav, Tyga, Lil Yachty, DaBaby, Trippie Redd, Blueface, Ski Mask the Slump God, Shoreline Mafia, Lil Mosey, Lil Tjay, Polo G, Smokepurpp, Megan Thee Stallion and more. Tickets for Rolling Loud Bay Area will go on sale Friday June 28, 2019 at 1 p.m. EST through the RL website. Rolling Loud will unveil the lineup for their debut NYC festival soon, with Los Angeles to follow.

Justin Lewis Scott, known professionally as Big K.R.I.T., is an American rapper/record producer from Meridian, MS. Big K.R.I.T is a backronym for King Remembered in Time. Scott released several mixtapes, including “Hood Fame”, with DJ Wally  Sparks and “The Last King”, with DJ Breakem Off. Migos is an American hip hop group from Lawrenceville, GA. Formed in 2008, the trio consists of Quavo (Quavious Keyate Marshall), Takeoff (Kirshnik Khari Ball) and Offset (Kiari Kendrell Cephus). They originally called themselves the Polo Club. The three members of the group are related and were raised together. Quavo is Takeoff’s uncle, and Offset is Quavo’s cousin. In 2013, the trio released their breakout single “Versace.” The single peaked at No. 99 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. Pop superstar Rihanna recently joined talk show host Seth Meyers for a day of fun and lots of drinking. In a twelve minute clip, which aired on Thursday, the two are shown playing several drinking games, giving each other advice, and again, downing lots of alcohol. During the segment, Rihanna revealed that she wanted to be a pilot, gave Seth advice on his wife, and much more. The songstress, who is in New York City to launch her Fenty pop up Store, downed shots of tequila, rum and quaffed champagne as she giggled her way through the segment. Meanwhile, Seth played bartender, whipping up cocktails based on the names of some of Rihanna’s biggest hits, including a drink called Under My Umbrella, which contained rum, rum balls, rum raisin ice cream, and topped with paper umbrellas. Other drinks included We Found Veuve in a Hostess Place and B**tch Better Have My Bunny. Seth hosted Rihanna’s Diamond Ball last year. The charity gala, which benefited the Clara Lionel Foundation, will return to New York City on Sept. 12.
