Chance the Rapper has announced a North American tour set to begin on Sept. 14 in San Francisco. The Chicago native will visit 35 cities across the United States and Canada before wrapping the tour up on Nov. 10 in Miami, FL. The tour will support Chance’s highly anticipated debut album “The Big Day”, which was released Friday. “The Big Day Tour” will hit such major cities as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Nashville, Austin and Toronto in addition to a Sept. 28 stop in his hometown Chicago. Chance will also make appearances at festivals, including Life Is Beautiful and iHeartRadio Music Festival. Prior to the release of “The Big Day”, Chance placed his trilogy of mixtapes on streaming services. Those mixtapes launched the rapper’s career before he released a studio album. “The Big Day” was inspired by the emotions the rapper felt on his wedding day. The project clocks in at 77 minutes and features special guest appearances by Nicki Minaj, Shawn Mendes and Megan Thee Stallion. Tickets for “The Big Day Tour” go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10:00 am local time.
