Quincy Matthew Hanley, known professionally as ScHoolboy Q, is an American rapper/songwriter from Los Angeles, CA. Hanley wrote his first song at age 16, but didn’t take music seriously until age 21. On July 29, 2008, Hanley released his debut mixtape “ScHoolboy Turned Hustla” with G.E.D, the same label that launched the career of fellow West Coast rapper Tyga, with whom Hanley worked early in their careers. Hanley has also released the albums “Habits & Contradictions” (2012), “Oxymoron” (2014), “Blank Face LP” (2016) and “Crash Talk” (2019).
