During the 1980s and 1990s, singer Alexander O’Neal, with the assistance of producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, issued such hits as “Innocent”, “If You Were Here Tonight” and “Fake.” What some may not know is that O’Neal continues to record from time to time, still delivering quality music that will please his long time fans. O’Neal’s  latest project harkens back to his Jam and Lewis days, sounding much like a blending of “Fake” and “All True Man”, with production similar to his biggest hits. The single “Think Of Who Loves You” is infectious. It’s a return to form for an artist who has had more than his share of hits over the years. I believe fans will enjoy this one. Welcome back Alexander O’Neal! Rick Ross fans, the wait is over. The Maybach Music Group CEO released his long awaited “Port Of Miami 2” album to streaming services today. The project includes the previously released singles “Act A Fool”, “Big Time”, “Gold Roses” and “Turnpike Ike.” “Port Of  Miami 2” features special guest appearances by Gunplay, Summer Walker, Dej Loaf, Meek Mill, Nipsey Hussle, Teyana Taylor, Jeezy, YFN Lucci, Ball Greezy, Denzel Curry and A Boogie Wit DA Hoodie. “Maybach Music VI” was rumored to feature Pusha T and Lil Wayne, but Push was left off the record in favor of John Legend. Following the release of three singles, rapper Trippie Redd’s album has arrived. “Exclamation Point”, which was released to streaming services today, serves as the Cleveland native’s sophomore effort. While the 19-year-old holds his own, several collaborators help power the 14-track project. Playboi Carti, The Game, Lil Baby, Lil Duke, and girlfriend Cori Leray make special guest appearances.  Diplo produced the album opener. Trippie hopes to release a rock album with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker before 2019 ends.
